Shipping and Refunds Policy

Thanks for shopping at AET Africa. We’re big on saving money, the planet and hassles. We realise that there may be circumstances where you may have bought the wrong thing – or circumstances change – you unexpectedly sold your house and no longer can make changes. In a nutshell, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. So please read this returns policy carefully so there’s no unnecessary to and fro-ing. We don’t like that – we like saving energy. 


You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. That means it must be in the original packaging. Do not remove the product from its packaging if you know you are going to return it. We also require receipt or proof of purchase.

If you are not satisfied with the performance of the product, the return will only be considered on receipt of a report by a qualified installer. In circumstances such as these, we would reserve the right to have the installation inspected by a qualified expert appointed by us. 


Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

You will receive the credit within 5 working days of the refund approval, depending on your card issuer’s policies.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. The refund status of the shipping (whether we or you cover it) will be at the discretion of AET Africa after weighing up all the circumstances.
